Ho West District Assembly Donates Items To Health Directorate To Combat Corona Virus
The Ho West District Assembly in support of the fight against Covid 19, presented some items to the District Health Directorate on 30th July, 2020 to help boost the health facilities hand hygiene.ju
The items included veronica buckets, tissue papers, washing soaps and detergents. Presenting the items, the District Chief Executive, Hon Ernest Victor Apau called on all stakeholders to adhere to and enforce the President’s directive on Covid 19 in order to minimize its spread.
Receiving the items, Mrs Edith Ekpor Amoaku, the District Health Director expressed her gratitude to the Assembly for the effort to prevent Covid 19 in the district. She urged everyone to take the safety protocols serious to avoid contracting the virus.

The Ho West Assembly was established by the Legislative Instrument (LI) 2083 of 2012. It is the highest political and administrative authority in the District. The population of the District stood at 94,600 as shown in Table1 (2010 Population and Housing Census).
